I am going to thailand in 2 weeks to train from open water up to Padi IDC (Instructor). I would like to know how hard or how easy it is to find paid work fromm there on in. I can go anywhere in the world. Also will I earn enough to live and party a little... I dont expect to be rich, just have enough to live in Thailand or anywhere for that matter.... Thanks Guys
Am going to hopefully train as a Padi instructor in Thailand. I would like to know how likely I am to find work after qualifying and how much I would roughly get paid..... I am very determined and have the relevent funds to pay for my course....

*Cough*
It’s as hard or as easy as you decide to make it. Not everyone was a good student in school, growing up.
Job wise afterwards, you need more than just a PADI Inst cert. Having a second language is good and so does some sort of resort management course. An up to date CV with picture is usually a requirement. Many employers now will screen for drugs and you’ll need to have a clean criminal background becuase many countries will require a clean slate for visas and temporary work permits. You may even be required to put up a bond before entering and working in the country of your choice.
Salaries vary with the area of the world you choose. So does the cost of living in that area so what your take home pay is, can differ a lot , country to country and even within areas of a country, so there’s no way anyone can list them all. I suggest you do a little digging for the area you decide on.
What can also come into play here, is that you’re getting certed in a warm water area. If you decided to come here ( Canada) for work, you ain’t gonna get much. That warm water cert without varied experience, doesn’t carry the weight of a cold water one. You’ll get a few chuckles tossed your way.
